How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

  • To deliver the contracted services, including cyber awareness training service and a technical vulnerability scanning service

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

  • Cyber-awareness training reporting data is provided by the learning management portal service partner
  • Internal technical vulnerability information is reported by our carefully selected technology partners, which may indirectly contain personal or financial information stored with your organisation
  • Website analytics data, including IP addresses and location data, is reported by Google Analytics, which is largely anonymized and summary level.

We use the information that you have given us in order to provide the contracted services to you and to effectively bill you for those services.

We may share this information with third parties as required for our financial accounting, tax and lawful requests.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

We do not keep cyber-awareness results or internal technical vulnerability scanning when you are no longer a client. However, we securely keep name, address, other contact information and billing information for 14 years.  We will then dispose of your information by anonymizing the records and deleting them.

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

  2. Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
